The Hilsen-Jennelly residence project is set in the scenic and historic Cheyenne capital city of Wyoming, near Curt Gowdy State Park and Vedavoo Camping Area.

This Folk House in the National sub-style with its modern conveniences and the prominent south-facing window wall allow daytime Wyoming sunlight to stream in, flooding the living space and dining space with life-giving light during the summer time and providing solar heat gain during the winter months. The upper master bedroom with its open floor plan is accessed by the wrap-around fireplace stairs. Once on the second floor, the area is generous and includes sitting space featuring the unique "J" shape balcony.

The balcony is one feature, as well as the fireplace and its stack that starts on the main floor level and rises to the finished ceiling 22 feet above. These features are what make this design unlike anything else, and for the clients, a place to call home.
